“When you audition, you are making an offer of yourself. Show them how complex your version of the character is. You are not two-dimensional or a cliche so don’t make safe choices that hide your own humanity. As an actor, it is your job to reveal, not to present some safe inauthentic version of yourself that is perfect. Never hide your own brilliance.”
